PTFE Coatings

PTFE Coatings have nearly the same broad range of chemical resistance that PFA coatings have. The coefficient of friction is the lowest of all the fluoropolymers.

Many versions of PTFE coatings are available including FDA compliant coatings for direct food contact uses. Other characteristics include good abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistance. Maximum operating temperatures are generally 550° F/290° C.

PTFE coating application thicknesses can range from 12 microns (.0005") to 203 microns (.008").
